So for the last 4 months now I have dedicated my spare time into studying for my part 107 Drone pilot license, getting my business started, buying some equipment. I’m really enjoying the journey from aviational section charts, VRP’s, LAANC, passing my part 107 test, buying a drone, learning how to fly it, learning how to edit videos and photos, building my website.
But what I would like to talk about on this blog: Is anybody out there work a full time job while trying to start any business as a side hustle at the same time? I would like to hear everyone’s struggles and how your dealing with it. I’m learning as I go and the issues I have is there is not enough hours in the day lol ! Sometimes with my full time gig i work 50-80 hours a week.
Also the weather for my business is a factor as i cant fly drones in the rain, as i am writing this I’m off today and its raining so I’m doing computer work and social media post maximizing my spare time into my business. I also have really gotten into regular photography and videography. Some of my photos have been published on PicFair check out the link on this website tell me what you think.
So, I feel good about my accomplishments with my drone business so far, and I’m going to keep pushing forward but I know this wont be easy — and nothing worth having is easy. So thank you for checking out my site and please contact me if you think my services can benefit your business or content creation. Have a great week ahead.
Thanks,
John Delaney FAA part 107 licensed drone pilot
